[video] Secret Pass Trail, AZ

@Unstuck 16

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ze96udgLmU&t=2200s

Some pretty cool scenery, nothing too challenging. Was a long trip, 275 mi round trip to AZ, took 2 hours to drive home.

There was 1 obstacle (hill) with a spotter, you could see the girl in front of me with a stock Jeep had a bit of trouble and Yogi just climbed right over it, haha.

Tie Rod Canyon night run, 4 hours to go 10 miles, condensed in video to 45 minutes of obstacle highlights, some of the obstacles rated in the 6-8 range.
@Unstuck 16

First main obstacle at 24:00 (cheers for completing around 32:10), unfortunately with it being at night I am pointed to the sky for most of this obstacle, so there will be minutes where you see mostly the black sky, Had to zig zag (forward and backward about 8 times to get the positioning right. 2 Doors had a much easier time on this obstacle compared to JKU's.

Second main obstacle that takes the trail name Tie Rod Canyon at 41:10, took this one first pass, was a breeze in my JKU. Had a 2 Door stuck for about 30-45 minutes while we dug her out.

Looks like an awesome time for sure! Wish we had some stuff like that around Florida. You're getting some good use out of all the upgrades you've made. Would love to see it in person, it's changed a lot since I've seen it last.

Thanks for posting Nycgags. As Unstuck mentioned, us Florida folk have to live vicariously through your videos, to experience trails like those.

Ill second that, I wish we had stuff like that here too. I want to plan a trip to Ouray, CO for the summer if 2019. Hit all of the Jeep Badge trails out there!

Running this on 9/30: Copper Cache

My club is hosting this event on 11/3-11/4 (36th annual, oldest club sponsored event in the area):

Hump N' Bump

I think we are shooting for 200 participants this year, weekend long camp out w/ a pretty sick BBQ dinner from what I hear (available to participants & sponsors only).

I need to get a battery hold-down that I ordered installed, roll cage from GenRight is on order (~3 weeks). Once I have that taken care of I should be able to pass Tech. Inspection.

Got about 3 hours of video, decided on this ~7 minute clip of the final obstacle of the Matterhorn trail (no freeware audio track):
