Wrangler no lift on 35's

Hi I am in the process of upgrading my new to me 2014 Wrangler. I got my AEV style wheels and 35" tires today. I am still going to put on a lift but just wanted to see how it looked without. I also have 1.5" spacers with the current setup.

I did the same thing before my lift, I just couldn't wait to see 35's on my Jeep.
What size lift are you installing?

More than likely a 2.5" kit

It can surely be done. Mine only has leveling kit and cut fenders. I really love it and it gets over so much like this without an issue.

I did the same as well. I have a 2.5 lift in waiting too but waiting on track bar brackets. I love the way it rides so much that I'm considering just leveling the front and leaving it as is. But I know that I'll rub if I wheel it hard. No rubbing now on the street and light trails at all.

Wow, I thought it was gonna rub...my idea it's 35's and Mopar 2" kit since I want to use it as DD and overlanding only (not really interested in rock crawling) my tires are almost shot and was thinking going with 33's because I have no lift yet, but I see it's possible to run it stock with 35's and a leveling kit, eventually flat fenders and then the lift for more peace of mind. I have A 2014 JKU Rubicon X with manual and 4.10 gears so I think it would be OK.

I'm still 4.10 and doing fine. But, I am at lower elevations than some people.

See my post here: https://www.wranglerforum.com/f354/l...156256-41.html .

If it lets the link stay.

I have a 2.5 inch lift and rip my rear fenders off every time I trail....it was fine for a couple months before I got the lift with 35 inch tires and no lift, but I never went off pavement like that...now that I have 2.5, I still need more bump stop or a higher lift ...there are a couple of pictures in the above linked to post. If the forum deletes the link, it can be found under the JK pics forum
