Xtreme purple

Looking for opinions on this color. I did search a while and didn't see much, sorry if I missed any prior posts. (Boy this site is addicting! lol)
I am a male and actually like the color! Saw one up close today and it's got a lot of metallic reflections/qualities in it. I always like the plum crazy mopar muscle cars. So, is it a girl's color on a jeep, or is it plum crazy-ish muscley-ish? There is one at the dealer close by and it is a bare bones model with the tiny stock wheels, but has tailgate reinforcement and 3.73 gear upgrade.
So, it is meant to be lifted and wheeled and I think would look bad ass all purple and black.

I like it! I was having a hard time deciding between that and Gobi, I ended up with Gobi but I do like the XP a lot.

Sing along to the tune of the Barney song...

"I love Jeeps

U love Jeeps

We are one big Jeep Family"

If it looks like a color you would enjoy, then go for it.

I like the color a lot, and I have external genitals as well. I do notice that most of the purple ones I see on the roads are driven by middle aged women.... but I were buying myself a Jeep new today.... it would be hard to resist that Xtreme Purple!

What GrapeApe74 said............who cares what others think, buy it and love it. I'll give you my opinion though, I really like it too! And I'm a 42 year old dude, haha.

Well, I'm not in a position to buy new right now. The only way I could is to get rid of one or both of my TJs...that's a whole other thread lol.
I am addicted to stopping at dealers to look though, and was just looking for opinions. I could see custom green/red/black graphics like grave digger!
That would be awesome.
I also like the hyper green, another thread.

Also, thinking collectability...how many are going to be out there years from now?

nothing wrong with trading 2 TJ's for 1 JK

I'm the same, I am always driving through the dealers lot to "look".....I would never impulse buy a Jeep

Meet Krush

It took me about 8 months to decide on colors and options. When I saw the Xtreme Purple on the lot, that was it. The Color is not for everyone. The metalic seems to change depending on lighting. Pictures don't do it justice. I have been told that purple is a combination of the perfect sunset with the perfect sunrise. If you love Jeeps, you can't argue that!

I'd LOVE to have a 2dr in Extreme Purple... I've only seen one in person so far, but it looked really slick! If you like it, get it! Purple and Black and Purple and Red (a lot less red though) would really look wicked. Go for it mate!

I love this color, but I would need the matching hardtop to go with it.

My friend had this same issue with the smurf blue FJ cruiser. I asked him to picture driving the vehicle years from now. Would he still like the blue color? He opted for gray.

Do you see yourself driving a purple jeep for years to come?

Mine should be delivered to the dealer any day now!! The hubs and I spent a lot of time looking at different models and colors. I looked at the purple online and liked it but wanted to see it in person. We found one at a dealer and one look and I was smitten !!
Ordered a 2 door Rubicon, manual with a premium soft top. I cannot wait for her to be delivered. I also ordered my personalized plate already, KTB - JPN . Translated - Katie be jeepin !!!

FYI - Your American flag is installed backwards; it should always be displayed the other direction as if it's flowing back while charging ahead.

That's the question. I wouldn't mind considering it might be a rare future collectible. Does anybody know if there has ever been a purple wrangler ever?

The Backcountry was available in purple. I've seen purple TJ's on the road before, not sure if it was custom or not.

hey man- your flag is backwards. Stars are always to the front "leading the charge". Think about looking at a flag on a pole and how it looks from both sides. It looks odd, but its correct.

Sweet ride BTW! I like how the purple looks so different depending on the light.

I've got the matching top. I think its a bit much. I would have preferred a black top to break it up a bit. I'm also thinking about losing the purple fenders.

Thanks GrapeApe74. I am modifying the flag magnet to have the stars charging forward. I knew something wasn't quite right.

@Boomersmomma - congrats on the xtreme purple decision. Be prepared to be wow'd. The color changes under different lighting. It has a slight metallic to it which contributes to this.
