There have been some pinstripes from wheeling. The advantage is that the dip protected the paint underneath. There have been some peeling on the bottom part of the door jambs as well as a result of my kids stepping on them to get in and out to the jeep. They're relatively easy to touch up. I used a total of six coats when I originally painted the jeep using spray cans.

Ok cool so no peeling as a result of off-road? I have no kids so maybe the dip will last longer lol

I've taken it on the beach but haven't done any wheeling wheeling yet, but I would like to start. I am going to join a local Jeep Club.

Correct. No peeling as a direct result from wheeling. It usually takes continued rubbing of the same area for the dip to peel (i.e. door jambs)

I wanna play...

When I bought her just a little over a year ago - I think this was heading towards official Mall Crawler status w/18" rims:

Thanks Ranger. I wish I could go to 33's, but with 3.07 gears in the rear keep me from doing so. Eventually I'll either upgrade my rear end or maybe find an LJ and start over. For now, it works great as a DD and holds its' own out on the trails.

This was from the CL ad before I went and looked at it..

The day I brought it home..
No top, 3" BL and 3" BB!!, t-case drop, lights on hood, tires that didn't hold air..

Since the day I brought it home I've been working on it.. I removed the lights off the hood, removed the hideous body lift, removed the budget boost, removed T-Case drop, installed a BDS 2" lift, currie antirock (since then it's been removed to accommodate steering), B. Lee offroad 1 ton steering, Metalcloaks, Aussie locker up front, fuel cell, beadlocks, 33" trail grapplers, frameless soft top, dyed interior dash/door panels black, installed Motobilt stubby bumper, winch, projector headlights with HIDs, LEDs that I had from previous jeep, LED flush taillights, rear bumper and probably more that I can't recall.

Still need to install my 1" MML and SYE. Eventually going to do tummy tuck, rear stretch, coilovers, and tons, but not for a couple of years. It does what I need it to do around my area and I have other money pits..

I posted in 2015 on page 1, but I'll update again

Since that picture I came close to my next years goals...

New motor mount lift, new 1.25 body lift, savvy skids underneath, and an axle with 3/16" brackets clocked to accommodate a TT. Also a new super short sye and longer dc shaft.

WIsh list for 2017 is again more armor. Oil pan skid, and rockers. Hopefully new fenders as well.

Even though I had already installed windshield lights, different wheels and tire carrier in the before pic, it's the closest one I could find.
