Hello again 52sampson. You asked before about a build thread well the best part of my build is the mid arm suspension hands down. I wasn't allowed to talk about it as I had a prototype on my rig before the kit came out. I guess I can't really call it a prototype as it was used by Savvy Offroad to win the King of the Hammers every man challenge. Savvy is now selling as kit for much less than what I paid

Here is a link to their website and that should give you more information on the best part of my build.

Savvy mid arm kit upgrade

Finally upgraded my LJ with the Ultimate Kit from DPG offroad (minus the body lift). Went with 32" KO2 and Mammoth 15 inch anthracite wheels. Very happy with how it turned out, rides better than I even imagined.

Well I was leaning towards black wheels but it looks like a very popular option in here!

Bit the bullet and finally bought new wheels and tires (side note, if anyone wants some 15" Ravines and well loved BFG All-Terrains, let me know). I wanted something a bit different so I went with 265/75R16 Falken Wildpeaks on ProComp series 7032. 2" OME lift from DPG Offroad (netted 2.5"). Next step is tummy tuck and Metalcloak or Poison Spyder fenders (especially so if anyone just wants to hand them out to me). Pics show new vs. old for wheels and tires only.

I stumbled into this Jeep over the summer when I first started looking, and I knew I should buy it. I've really enjoyed driving it, working on it, and spending time out in the woods with the family. Thanks to everyone that contributes all the great information and ideas on the forum!

33x12.5x15 on 15x8" rims. I think I'd prefer wider rims, but that's how it came. Maybe a change down the road....

New LJ here

Just bought this 2006 LJ with only 5600 miles on the clock. The dealer will be putting a new top and tires on it since they are the originals. I am definitely testing my patience here since I bought it sight unseen and with only a couple of garage pictures. I'll post more pics once I get them. I couldn't pass this one up with the LOW miles. I should have it within 2 weeks. It's gonna take awhile since the Jeep is in Key West and I am in Cali. This thread has given me a lot of great ideas. Some REALLY nice looking LJs on here!!

Rubicon is calling my name

Well...Plans change. The White LJ was giving me bad vibes so I passed on it. Instead I will be picking up a 2006 Rubicon LJ on Friday or Saturday. This on has 51k miles on the clock. Always wanted a Rubicon so this was the better choice!

Thanks, we thought so too. I can't wait until Friday!! I dig your name...just so happens I could be a SirJamesW as well. That would be my name too as well as my last name is a W as well.

We're gonna pick up the Rubicon and then spend the weekend in Vegas...should be a blast!
