Washed, Clay Barred, Buffed and Waxed

Gave the Jeep a good detailing today. Power washed it from top to bottom, followed by a good clay bar treatment. After that I busted out the Makita and buffed it, and laid down a final coat of wax. It really came back to life, and certainly doesn't look 14 years old!

Yup, they're Rugged Ridge flares. I like them, and they give plenty of clearance.

What Jeep?
All I see is those 70-72 Trans Am's.

Damn I love those second gen F-bodies…
I had a Sterling silver '75, Martinique blue '78, & three 79's the last of which was a 400/4 speed tenth anniversary.
I sold them all because I'm stupid.

I've always wanted a Lucerne Blue '72 4 speed, but it'll prob never happen.

Nice Jeep too

Trans Ams are my passion. The one under the lift is a 71 built out of spare parts. The one above it is a numbers matching 70 RAIII 4 speed that's undergoing an extensive restoration.

There's an 81 Daytona Pace Car not in the picture. That's midway through a restoration.

I envy you, They were my passion too, but life got in the way.
This was a '79 301/auto Firebird that I built with spare parts.
Turned it into a T/A with a built 400 & 4 speed, disk brake rear.
It was a fun car that I could beat on a bit without the worry of destroying a rare numbers matching car.
The Turbo wheels came off a tenth anniversary parts car.

Ahh the good ole days.
