Dogs and Jeeps

A beautiful day so the wife and I took our two mangy puppies to the beach. What could be better- My lovely wife, our jeep, and our two rescue dogs !! To be honest she and I are not sure who rescued who. No matter it was a wonderful day at the beach with my three girls.

It was a blast, here is a shot of the CJ from the week before. Its tough living 20 minutes from the beach.

I just happened to "luck" into this one. Believe it or not, we found it on Craigslist. $4500 later I was driving it home. The only upgrades were tires/top/seats and about a year later a new/rebuilt carb.

Oh yeah getting ready to do a ground up resto on that jeep. I'm the second owner it's been a ranch jeep it's whole life. I bought it last year put a new carb and fuel tank in it so I could take it hunting. It's rust free just has some dents in the rear. Pretty good platform to start with.

That lil pup looks like he is saying, " Enough with the pictures dad, lets get going".

Sweet CJ, looks in darn good shape for a old ranch jeep. How did it do hunting?

Thank you yeah it's pretty clean as in no rust. The rear corners have some dents in it but other than that it needs the usual body mounts stuff like that. It ran awesome for the trip after putting a new carb and fuel tank and lines I was pretty happy with it.and the little dog loves going for rides in it too...
