The relays/fuses were loose for testing. I pulled 'em out (no point having them hanging there since the switches aren't in) This is a pic of the aux fuse box I have in my Dakota R/T that I'd like to find for the JKU. Got it new on eBay over a decade ago, believe it was for some sort of Mitsubishi maybe? I made the label (using it for an electric fan, aux fuel pump, Crane Hi-6, and a DFI, It has room for 5 relays, but I only needed two). It's 3"W x 3.5"H x 3.250"D (as it's mounted in the R/T) and should fit nicely next to the PCM, between the plugs.
The dark pic (sorry, $40 camera, and it's dark out
but if ya' zoom in you can see them better) just shows the four pacard connectors into the "Y" connectors, then into two (one high beam, one low beam, for two lights). This is from my clear-lens pillar lights, but they are the same lights as the IR-lens bumper lights, so the wiring is the same. Obviously there's smaller/cheaper options for wiring, but I was getting some for the light connections any ways, and they're water proof
I made templates for the switch panel, ordered two custom etched Carling on-off-on switches yesterday (panel is for six switches, but getting two now for mock-up. Waiting on an e-mail from Carling on questions about the other four). I'm so stupid about details, I make things way harder (and take way longer) than they should be! But if it works out it ends being up pretty slick
