15 Wrangler JK Speaker upgrade

As well all know, the stock speakers in the Wranglers, huh BLOW!

So in my quest for better sound I bought some Kicker 41DSC654 form Crutchfield. After fiddling with the adapters and having them installed, I was very unimpressed speakers were a slight upgrade to the crappy factory speakers and the adapters made it hard to get them for and no rattle.

So installed the WRANGLER JK KICKER SPEAKER UPGRADE speakers in the dash and wow! Sound is what i expected and good as the Polks I had in my Subaru. Boxes have Polyfill as well. With the 130 radio, sound is pretty good, But streaming better music form my iPhone, I sounded very good. These are truly plug and play and was the easiest AM Speaker upgrade I ever did. The Speakers even seem like better quality.

Then I installed the KICKER Speaker Upgrade 77KICK10 in the dash and the sound was even better!! Now it was crystal clear and voices are clear.

The Kicker 41DSC654 speakers are going back and getting the KICKER UPGRADE speakers and 77KICK10 for the soundbar.

After I install those, next is the Clarion Mobile Electronics XC1410 D-Class 4-Channel Amplifier to really get me some clean sound.

Finally some good quality sound in my new Wrangler.

So those looking to upgrade the sound. just go with the KICKER UPGRADES.

I think you'll find that the AMP will give you much a more dramatic improvement then the speakers did.

Speakers will always make more of a dramatic and noticeable difference in sound quality than a new amp will. The only time a new amp would make a dramatic improvement would be if someone installed the wrong speakers first which required more power than the amplifier could put out.
When you have a choice, buy American.

Just added the Kickers 6.5" upgrades. The rear did far less than the front. I also added Amazon $8 tweeters that sound great! So at this point I would say a 30% upgrade. I have yet to compare it to a factory Alpine system.

Lacking power at this point. There is a weird static when BT is paused. A new HU would be great but I don't want to lose the factory goodies.

I added a powered sub and small amp, and it made all the difference.
