Chrysler part #77KICK10. They are 2-way speakers by Kicker that are plug and play for the Wrangler. I have 2 sets in my Wrangler and am quite happy with them. When I got them allusasupercenter.com had them cheapest.

Aftermarket. Audiosavings.com Just built a huge system into my buddy's car from there, and they had the cheapest prices, even when shipping across the border was factored in.

I don't know what you mean by "cranked up in young" or "base". I assume you mean bass? lol...anyway, they sound fine. They are powered off a Clarion head unit that puts out more power than the stock junk. Replace it if you want truly better sound. Any 6.5" will not supply much low frequency - you will want a small sub at least. However, they sound great, just need that little extra kick from a sub.

With the top down on the highway they still sound good...with my new head unit.

They are giving you a generic recommendation when they say "aftermarket". Really not much help. Obviously anything aftermarket will sound better then the shit in there now. I recommended the Kickers because of how easy they are to swap, and I think I got them for $70/pair. Many people here swap their speakers with Polk DB651's. Either or.

Did the infinity Kappa fit in the stock fronts or did you just do the sound bar.

i have a tj so i have no clue on what fits the jk. i like the kappa components and kappa perfect components because they dont put out much low end frequencies allowing the sub-woofer to do the work of the low frequencies.

Does anyone know if there's a difference in the Kicker speakers that are made for and only sold through mopar vs Kicker speakers that would be sold at your local car stereo installation place? Basically, is one kicker any better that the other kickers?

It's ridiculous.

2x RE Audio XXX15D2
2x US Amps Merlin MD3DN
4x RE Audio RE6.5C
2x Selenium ST 350 200W
8x O2 OC650
1x Cadence F100-5
1x Kenwood DDX318

Would he recommend it? Yes. Would I? No - it's absolute overkill.
