Antenna x

Just purchased a 14" billet antenna for my 2012 jk from antenna x. Wanted to know how easy it is to install, hows the reception, and how was dealing with antennax?

Install took a whopping 30 seconds. Reception died a little. Most channels.come perfectly clear.

Yep, install was almost a non event. I haven't noticed any reception loss, but I haven't been too far out of town since I got it.

Antenna X was great to deal with. Good price and quick shipping.

Literally remove old one and screw new one in 30 sec. I love the look and for me have not noticed any loss of reception at all.

Don't waste your money !!!

I just bought the AntennaeX 14' rubber stubby. I read some other bad reviews and didn't heed their advice. What a mistake. Before install I had all radio channels preset, and the scan would stop at numerous other channels. All came in strong and clear, no static. After install, half of the presets had no or terrible reception, and the scan would not find a channel. Reception is worse when in a valley, woods, or building. In my rural area radio stations are 20 to 60 miles away and the terrain is basically flat. This is just a very poor antennae. Don't buy it unless you live in the city and never leave it. It will only get worse as the FCC is lowering the power of radio stations. Anybody know of a good antennae
booster. I had one in the '70s and it was a good product.

I emailed Antennae X and they are sending me another one. I will let you know how it turns out. I said it was a 14" antennae in my post, but it is a 13".

AntennaX sent me another 13" rubber stubby to replace the one that had poor reception. This one works just as bad as the other one. I am going to plasti-dip the stock one black or put heat shrink tube on it. I guess if you stay in the city their antennae is OK, but then why buy a Jeep? He definitely misrepresents the quality of his antenna.
