Arrow Anyone using a K30 or K40 antenna on their Jeep?

First let me say my 29LX is blown. I am getting a 959 soon and I will be interested to see my current SWR with the Firestik II. The CB display told me I have a 1.2.1 SWR across all channels. However, I blew something out a few weeks ago while the mic was keyed which leads me to think the internal SWR could be way off. I will order an external SWR meter (or is the 959 meter ok?) to see for sure.

Should I stick with the Firestik? For the duration I had my rig I could barely talk to people when they were not in eyesight. I remember I got a 2 mile connection once, and I was surprised. Thinking about swapping antennas. Where would I put a K30 on a Jeep?

Also for future reference, would it work on 10 meters?
