Best stereo upgrade without breaking the bank.

I have the base stereo in my 2013 JK with no sub. What is the best bang for my buck upgrade without breaking the bank ?

Better speakers like from Polk... models with high Sensitivity ratings of 90 dB or more to match the low power of the stock amplifier.

Do the full MOPAR Kicker Upgrade. 4) KICKER Speaker Upgrade 6.5 INCH and 4) 77KICK25AB

Please are Plug & Play as well. Just add some Poly-fill in the dash speaker boxes and sound bar.

Without my amp, sounds really nice and makes the 130 Radio sound good. New Clarion amp goes in next week and this should really get some sound output. Speakers have a little bass and such to them as well. All the speakers will cost less than $350 if shopping around.

I just bought the Alpine ILX 007 which got good reviews vs a nice Kenwood model. I am upgrading the speakers and subwoofer later, but the head unit should help improve overall sound and provides iphone compatability.

I agree with DIRT BOY... The MOPAR KICKER update is by far the best update you can do without breaking the bank. And it sounds GREAT!

I don't think those 3.5" kickers will fit in his 2013 "tweeter towers".

When installing both the 6.5" & 3.5" in the dash (2015-2016), it changes the total impedance on those channels to 2ohm. This is true if running both the 3.5" & 6.5" at full range. May not matter depending on your amp, but something to think about.

Depends on what your bank is

Kickers/mopar are a option but I would bet for similar money you can get something much better at a local audio shop. There is no need using a two way speaker where the 6.5 fits...

There are numerous great brands out there, depends on your budget

Speakers and Poly fill. You can always add an amp and sub later.
