double din radio

have an 01 will a double din radio fit without cutting? i can get a nice radio with gps installed with touch screen pretty cheap and i really dont want to send it out to get it installed if it needs cut to fit. thanks for any help

There are a few threads where guys have fit a DD in the dash of a TJ. Not sure I would, cuz it would only be in there a day before someone cut the windows and jacked it. But, to each his own.

normaly, if a every day driver, i dont like a DD radio. not much can detach from it. and just more of a reason for ppl to break into your jeep, even if it's one that has a code theves dont know that till after the fact. and like stated above normaly has to be custom installed.
