Finding switched power for lighting ??

I posted this in the JK Wrangler section but thought I would post it here as well to open the question up to a wider audience.
I did get one response but not sure I want to go into the fuse box just yet.

I put some PIAA lights on my new front bumper today and all went fine with routing the wiring and mounting the lights...but I am not sure where to tap in for the one wire that needs to be connected to a wire that only has power when the switch is on,
Where do you suggest?

What are you using to trigger your lights? Do you want them to come on with the headlights, on with ignition, or on/off with a dedicated switch? If they are designated fog lights with a DOT approval, you can wire them to ignition or with the headlights; if they aren't DOT approved, it's probably illegal to drive on any road with them on... I would get a dedicated switch to turn them on and off.

The set of lights I got had a dedicated switch with it and I installed it all last night.
Found an open fuse and put a fuse tap in there along with a 10 amp fuse.
Works great!
