Hey there,

You'll need two things:

1. A SWR tuner, which stands for Standing Wave Radio. These can be picked up electronics stores for $20-50. They come with instructions and there's lots of videos on YouTube.

2. Wide open space. Trees, buildings and large metal surfaces will interfere with the tuning process.

As mentioned, you will need an swr (Standing Wave Ratio*) meter. They are easy to use and available at some radio shacks, truckstops, and all over the web. You will also need a small jumper cable.

This may help: https://www.wranglerforum.com/f40/cb-...wr-133512.html

Particular antennas tune differently. Some firestiks must be sliced open and cut, some the cap removed and cut, and some have screws to tune them, as I understand it.

Read through the above and see if you still have any questions.
