Great Customer Service is Always Appreciated

I have this thing where I enjoy trying different antennas, they are cheap easy to install and I like to tinker so, I have tried the firestick FS2 (3 and 4ft), K40 3ft, K40 flex 4ft, wilson superflex (which was way to whipy for me). I was recently doing some research and was reading about Skipshooter antenna's and thought hey I will give them a go.

So I purchased a new skip shooter 4ft antenna from a website that I had never heard of or had any experience with (Antenna Parts Outlet - Maco Parts, ROHN Tower, Hazer, Channel Master, & More!). This can always make me a bit anxious, but I figured its only $20 bucks. I ordered the orange thinking maybe it would be a close enough match to my Crush Orange JK to look good (the firestick FS2 is pretty close and looks good but fades fast). When it came in it was pretty obvious that it was a bit more neon and peach looking than I was hoping for. So I give antennapartsoutlet a call to see if I can possibly exchange it for a black one. After talking with a very pleasant lady, she informed me it would be no problem to switch the antennas and was happy to send out a return label to send the orange antenna back. I received an email only minutes after hanging up the phone with a new invoice and a personal email from the representative saying they were also sending an orange one in case they sent the wrong color by mistake. Within a few hours I got another email stating the new antennas had been shipped priority mail.

After getting the black antenna in I immediately went to work putting it on the jeep and tuning it up. I have to say this antenna tuned lower than any other antenna I have ever tried (nothing else has changed in my CB setup just the antenna). It tuned down to an SWR of 1.1 on both channel 1 and 40 and slightly under 1.1 on channel 20 (for comparison the FS2 that came off was around 1.2 to 1.3). The skipshooter antennas are made in the good ol US of A to boot.

To finish up I have no affiliation with either antennapartsoutlet.com or skipshooter just wanted to say that next time you snap an antenna consider ordering a skipshooter from this website particularly if your like me and appreciate when a company goes out of their way to take care of their customers!
