Looking for pictures and or speaker specs. if you are not happy or are happy with what you have.
I am doing a full system upgrade for a 2 door jk with a soft top. I have a idea but what to see what other people have done.

I just posted up a new thread about what I have done so far. I am totally disappointed, sounds like my kids toys. I have a Pioneer 2800, 6.5" kicker cs in lower dash, and 5.25" JL Audio two ways in the sound bar. Feels like I totally threw all my money away.

Look up davidram's audio build. He's done some crazy stuff...dynomat whole interior, the works. Likely more than most would want to tackle but lots of good ideas

Put a new Pioneer 2700 in with the stock infinty system. Just added the tweeter mod and the speaker mod and I am very satisfied with the results.

I just put the 77Kick10 in the sound bar...10 minutes. Sounds MUCH better. But cranking it up, he front speakers still distort. Got another pair on order. Those simply plug in to the wiring as well, right? (I understand the install is much more involved.)

Yes same plug in the dash speakers. I was told the dash install was pretty difficult as well but took me about 30-40 minutes start to finish. Passenger side is pretty easy as you can pass the speaker pod through the glove box opening. Drivers side is a bit more challenging. I unbolted the single screw on the bottom corner, then two screws along the bottom edge and two on either side of the steering wheel. Once I got the pod unbolted I pulled back the plastic back what seemed to be just before the breaking point and was able to pass the pod out the side. Be extremely cautious when pulling the plastic panel piece back as not to break it.

After replacing all my speakers the sound was still horrible, so threw a 1300 watt amp in the mix, and connected a 10" Fosgate sub in a slim box. Now the system sounds great!!!

Yea just changing out the speakers wont make your sound better. An aftermarket radio will make it sound SLIGHTLY better but not enough to tell the difference. You would HAVE to install a new amplifier to push the speakers to capacity. Stock radio stock amp and stock speakers suck
