Need opinion on AMP install.

Ok, I know I have been a lurker, unfortunately it's kind of in my nature to be.

I have a 150 watt "75X2" motorcycle amplifier which I had never really used, so I am thinking about driving either the dash or sound bar speakers. I am torn as to which set I should drive with it. The system is all stock except for the head unit which is a KDC-X995. It sounds decent, but as to be expected with a soft top, highway sound is extremely lacking. While I do intend to upgrade various parts of the system "speakers, decent amp, and sub" I am looking for a way to provide any form of improvement to the current setup.

Just about all of my music is played from my phone via Pandora on a 3.5 mini-jack, but I do play some MP3's via the HU's USB input.

So in short, my question is this. Would it be better to drive the front speakers or the rear speakers. They are all stock and there is no sub. As for the future of the system. I do intend on upgrading the speakers but probably not till the stocks die.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
