Need some help with a radio.

Ok guys, its been a while since i've been here. just been super busy with school and work. but lets just jump right into my dilema..... I've got an Alpine CDA-7876 radio unit. its a discontinued model. but i Know that this one works. and its exactly what i want / need. easy to use no extra nick nacks, just radio, and cd player w/ removable face. Problem is, i'm not electronically inclined, at all. mechanics is my thing. In the jeep, i have the factory wiring harness (currently hanging in the floorboard) and the antenna jack. and two two new in dash speakers. How do I connect the radio, the wires on the back of the radio are definately not going into the factory harness. also, i want to be able to add a sound bar for 2 more speakers. any help / info yall can give is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

buy a wire harness from a car audio shop, should be less than $15....it should plug into your factory harness and colors on it should match color for color w/ your alpine..

now as for music bar, i assume, thats your only rear speakers.. if so you would hook them up to the alpines green and purple wires. if you have to run new wires

below are aftermarket wire colors off a radio and harness, these are NOT factory wire colors

Green = rear left +
Green/black = rear left -

purple = rear right +
purple/black = rear right -

and incase u need to re-wire your fronts:

white = left front +
white/black = left front -

gray = right front +
gray/black = right rear -

welp, dont even have the harness yet, but just lookin at the back of my radio and already have some questions...... i'll post the pics and let them do alot of the explaining. Obviously one of the wires with the black end is for the antenna, i'm note sure what the other wire is (thats the one with the pic of the inside of the tip) something plugs in there but not sure what. next is, i've got two green wires comming out that say "sub w" on the end. I'm not hooking up a woofer, so do i just leave these alone? remaining are 2 sets of 2 wires. alkl wires are black, but one set is has a piece of purple wrap on the end and says rear out, the other has gray wrap and says front out. so i'm sure that means they go to the front and rear speakers. problem is, theres only two wires each and they have an RCA (?) type connection on the end. I would assume i need 4 wires for the front and 4 for the rear (2 for each side) but i dont have that. also, i dont have anything that labels either wire +or-. although 1 connection in each set is red and the other is white. what do i need to do from here? sorry if i'm bugging you with all this stuff, just rying to learn a little and save myself a few bucks from paying to have it installed.... oh yea, last but not least.... the last picture is of a block where it looks like something should plug in. do i need to find whatever that piece is? to install this?

i can tell you this unit was previously hooked up with an amp, two subs two 6x9's and two tweaters, none of which was tied into the original harness. but all of that was removed, wiring and all.

ok 1st picture is RCA's they feed aftermarket amplifiers.. so if your not running a amp you won't need any of them.

unsure of that 2nd pic unless its a connection for a alpine changer etc...if it is you wont need it..

now, a HUGE issue, that 3rd picture is the main radio harness plug in...do you have harness that plugs into that spot on your alpine radio? if not you will need to either contact a alpine deal or alpine them selves and order it...that plug will have all the wires you will need for a install. all your speaker wires, ground, constant, ignition etc etc

i don't think it should be much more than maybe $20. and like i said you maybe able to order it from alipin directly. if you get a chance take pictures of everything you have for that radio...bc if your missing too much stuff maybe more cost effective to just buy a cheap basic cd player...most now adays start about $80 and are am/fm cd/mps players w/ Aux audio input.
