New install

I am installing a Kenwood TM-D710GA soon. I am wanting to install a Larson NMO mount antenna on the AEV tire carrier post. Can anyone recommend a good mount to use for this?

I don't know of any designed specifically for the tire carrier but you can take any of the NMO L Brackets and make it work. You could drill it out to 3/4" or bolt a NMO straight bracket to it. Not sure how much material is in the AEV post to know if the drillit option will work.

On my JK, I had bought an L Bracket but couldn't use it. It became a straight bracket with the help of a hammer and a vise and now is bolted to the drivers fender lip.

Thanks for the input. The plate on top of the post is plenty thick to drill. May be the best option. Thanks again.
