New Rattle

So I just had a Pioneer installed about a week ago and shortly after I noticed a new rattle that wasn't there before. It's probably just a loose screw but not sure, anyone else have this problem after a new install?

Thanks, D

Is the rattle coming from the center stack? If so, just go back in and make sure that all the screws are tight, including the one that holds the face plate adapter onto the head unit.

X2.

- There are 3 screws on top the center bezel.
(underneath the heater vent cover)

- 1 screw behind the ash tray.

After those are undone, you should be able to pop your center bezel out.
From there, you'll find the remaining 2 holding your head unit in place.
* just snug up all that you find.

I know how you feel man.
I HATE having others do stuff to any of my vehicles.
I always find myself having to go back and correct SOMETHING.
They just don't put the time and consideration in it that you would,
NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY'RE GETTING PAID!

Thanks guys.

Blacktooth, I totally agree with you. Plus I hate any kind of rattle in my jeep, I know it's impossible to get rid of them all but they still drive me nuts.

What drives me crazy is that I've got the 5 1/4" adapter plates in the dash and the stock screws that hold them on are stripped and vibrate like hell. I'm just too lazy to take 5 minutes to put some plastic lined nuts on new bolt. I bought them. Just haven't done it yet.

I hear ya.
With my 98, there's no way I'll ever find all the rattles.
Even if I did....
something will get jarred loose the next time I take it out to play.
It's a never ending battle.
Try to remember though...IT'S A JEEP! lol.
Just enjoy it.
