New to the CB World been reading but want some final help!

Hey all,
So ive been reading all around the forum about cb's and antennas and brackets and everything else under the sun but im looking for a final opinion on the setup im about to get because to me its a good bit of money to spend.. here we go:

CB Radio: Cobra 19DXIV 40 Channel Mobile Compact CB Radio

Antennae: 4' FIRESTICK II TUNABLE TIP BLACK

Bracket: Rugged Ridge 11503.89 CB Antenna Mount for Jeep Wrangler

Spring: Firestik SS-3H Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Antenna Spring

Mount: Trying to mount it directly above the rear view mirror but dont know quite how yet..

Also i have a brand new '12 Sport and im trying not to drill any holes in the body so can y'all help me out on the install??

Thats all i have so far is this ok? Will it get me good reception. All im looking to do is talk to some truckers going down the highway and talk to my buddies while were on the trail or driving down the road. What else do i need to do? What else do i need to buy?

Thanks so much everybody in advance!

Sturg

Have almost identical setup on 12 Sport but have a Uniden 520XL. Don't forget the coax :-) and you'll need a ground strap. Run the coax through the tailgate. You'll see the rubber plugs behind the spare. Run ground strap underneath hing covers into the tub and through drain hole to the frame. Let me know if you have questions. Was able to get my SWR 1-1.1 with that setup.

This is how I grounded mine.
Full write up HERE. Since the write up I have changed the ground wire to 10 ga but didnt see much if any difference. I also went to a Wilson Flex antenna. Very happy with it. Instead of a spring I recomend looking at the Wilson Flex or Firestick Firefly (just my $.02).

Thanks guys i switched to the wilson flex antennae and bought a coax cable. I diddnt buy the antennae mount yet but other than that is that all i need before i start my install? what about the grounding wires and how will ii hear out of the radio does it have an external speaker built in? Lastly im trying to mount it above my rearview mirror in the center of my jeep because theres that little thing sticking out that has no use so im going to try and attach it to that. I just dont want it down on the floor anywhere else i can mount it?
Thanks again,
Sturg

As long as you ground your antenna with a ground strap you'll be fine. CB should have internal speaker. Not sure where else you would mount. Mine is in the footwell on passenger side. Now I park in the city so I cant have mine visible or the druggies will bust out the windows to take it. Heck Ive had windows busted out for pocket change before :-(
