PA system suggestions

I am hooking up the jeep with a cb/pa system. I am wiring it so i am able to speak through the pa speaker, and also play music. I am more concerned about how the music will sound than the speaking part. I want something that is loud, with a little bit of bass (something balanced not crazy), and I don't want it to sound like crap. I also don't want to break the bank lol. Has anyone had this setup and had it sound good? any speaker suggestions? thanks in advance!!!

PA circuits off CB's and fidelity can't be used in the same sentence. Just can't get there from here.

I'm pretty sure you can only get a PA in mono. I think you would be better off trying to get something to go through the stereo like Mr. Microphone. Or use your car stereo cranked up while speaking on the CB's PA.

look into marine speakers... you'll find all sorts of silicone cone based speakers that can take whatever your jeep throws at em, and if you look around you'll find some that are roll bar mountable as well.

as far as the PA goes, I'd wire one feed from the stereo and a different one from the CB, and have a 3 position switch for the external speakers. cb OR stereo, or off completely, unless you want to be REALLY annoying and possibly get tickets.

@aelwero the way you just described how to wire is exactly how Ill be wiring…Ill be able to keep it completely off, speak through it, or play music through it…not planning on doing it all at once lol…but the marine speakers sound like a good plan..ill look into it!!
