Pumpkin Android DDin and Canbus

Interested in running a Pumpkin Android 6.95" DDin in my 2016. Have a few friends with these and they love them and the price is perfect. I've seen people using Maestro adapters to communicate with Canbus system but there is no option for this brand unit. Wondering if anyone has ran one of these or knows another option to connect to the Canbus system?

which Pumpkin are you looking at? I just ordered the 5.1 w/2gig ram. (one with the lighted circular home button and the volume knob on the left side).

Previously I replaced the oem Jeep radio with a Pioneer AVH; for that I use the PAC C2R-CHY4 CAN BUS adapter. It worked ok, but their docs state that head unit fading is not supported with canbus. Had to connect the head unit front wires to the adapter's rear speaker wires, sound comes out all four speakers and the sub, but there is no fading.

The Pioneer died after about two years. I just installed the Volsmart Android 7" a week ago, but it is going back; too slow and buggy. Took minimum of 10 minutes for the system to become operational (volume knob had major latency...like a couple seconds for any turn of the knob to adjust the sound level). For most my errands around town, the stereo was effectively non-functional).
