Radio 130S USB + iPod Shuffle = Help Please!

Picked up my new Unlimited today... it's better than expected. Only problem I have is trying to get my iPod Shuffle to play thru my Radio 130 via USB connection. I tried hitting the Aux/Disc button on the face of the unit and all I get is CD or BT. Then I try switching to USB via voice command and it tells me "no device is found". Anybody else having this problem? My Shuffle is fairly new, 4th generation purchased in 2012. I've searched and searched the web for remedies, but I keep coming up empty, Google search after Google search.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not real familiar with Apple products but I was able to play music stored on my Android phone by connecting the jack you would use for the headphones to the AUX jack on the 130. The 130 in the Patriot I was driving did not have a USB jack (at least not an obvious one).

Yeah, I was able to stream from my Galaxy S4 and connect it via USB also with no problems. I think there is a compatibility issue with the iPod shuffle. From what I have been able to find (which is very little) nobody is having trouble connecting iPod Nano or Touch, but I have yet to see, or not, if the Shuffle is even compatible. I guess I can always play it thru the aux jack on the faceplate, just sucks that I'll have it hanging from the dash and then another wire hanging out of the console if I need to charge it at the same time.
