Red button near steering wheel

Does anyone know what the hell that red button on the left of the steering wheel is/does?! Can't figure it out

No one else's TJ has this? I do have an after market alarm system but this was there prior to the installation. It doesn't blink but it pushes in like a button.

I saw a Dalorean with one of those once, it enabled the flux capacitor or some such. Havent seen any in jeeps though.

Maybe a fake valet switch to hopefully fool a thief. Follow the wire. Unless its for time travel or a link to Batstar lol.
