Removed stock Sub encloser - looking for best replacement option.

I have a 2012 JKU Sahara that I added a 3rd row seat to (installed a 2 door JK seat). To do this I had to remove the stock sub enclosure. Now I'm realizing how bad the soundbar speakers are. So I think I'd like the best options for plug and play replacing the soundbar speakers, as well as adding a sub back to the mix with my limited space. - I'll focus on the sub in this thread since there are tons of threads about the sound bar speakers, but feel free to speak up about those if you've had a good experience with some.

I'm considering basically 4 different options right now.
1 - buy a plug and play amp speaker package.
Option A- Kenwood powered sub http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-KSC-SW...I3F1YV407O75D5.
Pros: very small, I could hide it under a seat or attach to the back gate and I would not have to remove it when the 3rd row is in use. Also it accepts line level input, so it's easy to hook it up.
Cons: a little more than some other options and I'm not really sure, but possibly sub par performance to other options.
Option B: infinity basslink http://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Bassl...=IMUT3LLIKBNLZ
Pros: good reputation for sound quality, easy instillation with line level inputs
Cons: takes up room and you can't stack stuff on it. Would have to be removed when 3rd rom is in use. Reputation for failing after 2 plus years of use.
2 - remove the stock infinity 8" sub and put it in a small downfiring enclosure, power it from the stock amp
http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-Ud-sw8...=IXN21W2NWCXJM
Pros: cheap solution, easy hook up to stock amp, can stack things on the shallow enclosure, so it doesn't hurt too much space wise
Cons: no improvement over stock sound, even though its small, would still need to be removed during use of 3rd row.
3 - buy an aftermarket 8" sub put it in a small downfiring enclosure and power it from the stock amp
I guess I'd use the same enclosure from above and maybe buy the kicker replacement 8" sub. I'm assuming it's best if I get a 2 ohm sub if I'm powering from the stock amp.
Pros: ease of instillation, small and can stack stuff on top. Some improvement over stock sound
Cons: costs more than option 2 and I'm not sure how much better it will sound, have to remove when the 3rd row is in use.
4 - buy a downfiring 10" sub and enclosure and power it from an old, but still respectable Rockford Fosgatetion punch 60ix amp I have laying around.
Pioneer 10" sub in a shallow downfiring enclosure. http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-SWX...I2XASV6HIT1SRA
Pros: I'm assuming this is sound wise close to the infinity basslink for cheaper. I can stack things on top of this enclosure.
Cons: not sure how to hook up my RF punch 60ix amp to the stock headunit that has no preamp outputs. Amp has to be mounted somewhere. Sub will have to be removed when the 3rd row is in use.

So weigh in if you can help me choose. What would you do and why. Is there something I'm missing? Also if you want a 2012 (fits a 2011, 12, 13) stock sub enclosure make me an offer. I have one available that got less than 6 weeks of use. The replacement trim piece from a sport cost me $70.

Do you still have your enclosure for sale?
