Satelite channel cross talk and hiss with 430N / PSS-21WRA / Fix-86

I have a post in this thread about my install, but I'll post here as people might have more experience:
Alpine PSS-21WRA Full..... - Page 3 - Jeep Wrangler Forum

2016 JK, 430N head unit, installed the alpine PSS-21WRA and JL Audio Fix-86. The problem I have is hiss and cross talk at low volume. The hiss was there when I just had the PSS-21WRA installed (not the Fix-86 as well) but tonight I just realized that the cross talk is from the satellite channel.

So if I have the radio set to FM, AM, HDD or CD I have hiss and significant cross talk from the current SAT channel. Enough that I can hear their advertising. I don't have the SAT subscription so perhaps it is punishment.

Another thing I noticed is that it is equal on all four channels - the fader makes no difference. That must narrow it down to somewhere past the pre-amp in the head unit. Setting the SAT to channel 0 gives the least noise.

Ideas? I'm going to pull the top of the dash off and try to narrow down the pathway where the cross talk is entering the wiring. It could also be through the power wire too. I'm hoping it is not internal to the 430N...

Update: I removed the dash and tested the outputs of the 430N directly, without the Fix86 and PSS-21WRA. The hiss and cross talk is present.

So the 430N has a poor internal design, and with the standard JK speakers you can only hear it very faintly. With more amplification it is louder.

The partial solution is to calibrate the Fix86 at a louder volume so the amplification is less and/or turn down the gain on the PSS amplifier.
