A 2-way speaker is low and high.
A 3-way speaker is low, mid, and high,
The one thing to keep in mind about Kappas is that they are very bright,
meaning they are very crisp on the high end.
This is a great when accompanied by subs,
and matched with the correct amount of power.
if you're not planning on running subs with these Kappas,
they might be a bit to much on the high end for you.
(they would be for me)
If that's the case,
you might want to look into speakers that have a bit more low end to them.
As far as the dash is concerned:
I'm not sure what size speakers are in your year, but mine came with 4x6 stock.
If your dead set on replacing them with 5.25" speakers,
you'll need a 5.25" adapter plate kit, and need to do a small bit of cutting.
The mod is very simple.
