Tm-d710ga

I just received my ham Technicians license this week and today I purchased a Kenwood TM-D710GA radio. If anyone else has the same radio or a similarly configured radio I would like to see pictures on how you installed it. I'm thinking about putting the TX/RX unit behind the panel under the steering column but I would like to see how and where you installed Operation panel.

Arizona Rocky Road makes a ham/CB radio mount I like a lot, they have a version of it for JKs too. ARIZONA ROCKY ROAD ANTENNA MOUNTS FOR JEEP WRANGLER, UNLIMITED AND LIBERTY

While my ham radio isn't much like yours, here's how mine is mounted using their mount which does not require any holes be drilled. I like my radios being just above the mirror so they're out of the way but still easily viewable and controlled. Plus the wiring is run inside the mount so it makes for a clean installation.

My radios are also mounted to an Arizona Rocky Road overhead mount (Kenwood TM-281A 2m ham above; Uniden Pro520XL CB below):
