What isn't working? Does the radio light up like it is working but you just can't get any sound? Or is the radio not even lighting up or showing its usual clock?

You still did not answer my actual questions. What are you calling the "main leads"??? The power leads? The speaker leads? Or do the "main leads" include every wire? Do you have any wiring connected? Is the radio lighting up?

You're not providing any information needed for anyone to figure out what the problem is. You provided a wiring list but we/I have no idea what you have done/not done and exactly what help you need.

The pink-white wire from the Jeep connects to the yellow wire of the new radio. The Jeep's pink-white wire provides a constant 12 volts for the radio.

The radio's red wire is likely the wire that connects to the Jeep's pink wire that goes on & off with the ignition switch so the radio turns on & off with the ignition switch. The radio's wiring diagram is not clear on that but that's my guess based on car stereo industry standards.

The orange wire from the Jeep connects to the orange-white wire of the radio. That should provide variable illumination for the radio whose brightness varies with the dashlight dimmer control. The black-yellow wire from the Jeep does not appear to have a function suitable for your radio.

The radio's blue-white wire would be used to turn on/provide power to an aux amplifier.

Oh crap sorry, I was looking at the wiring code on the right which isn't for the radio you're installing. I edited my above post #6, I hope it's correct... they are educated guesses.

Locating a good ground is important.... your TJ should have a ground strap inside the dash that the factory connected to the chassis of the original radio. You can use that or connect the ground to the stud the ground strap was connected to. There are several good ground connections under the dash, they have a black wire going to them... black wires are ground wires.

Look harder. There are grounds up in that part of the Jeep and where the ground strap was originally connected for, hopefully its grounding stud is still there... a threaded stud up behind where the radio mounted. Hopefully it at least has the nut on it if the original ground strap for the factory radio was stupidly removed by the previous owner.

Black and yellow will kill a fellow, black and you're sharp as a tack. At least where electrical grounds are concerned.

It's likely being grounded via being screwed into the radio enclosure but personally I'd still add a ground wire to it at some point in the near future. Glad to have helped, you're very welcome.
