turbo on siriusxm

the newly offered Turbo channel on Sirius is amazing. However, I can't get it on my factory Jeep stereo. I have a 12 JK. I believe the channel is 300 or something. Either way, I can't get it. I DO have all access on my Sirius package. Does anyone know why this is? Do I need a new stereo installed? Can I somehow make my factory receiver somehow get it? Thanks friends.

According to the Sirius web site, that channel is only available on-line, so the good news is you don't need a new radio. The bad news is you can stream it, if you want to pay for the data.

i was going to suggest this. i think for $10 extra a month you can stream to a phone and use the aux input to then stream through your factory HU

It messed with me too when it first came out but to echo what others have said its an online streaming only station, occasionally they do takeovers on some of the other metal stations though.

It's now on channel 41. My loss is your gain, as the previous punk station got bumped to online only.

Anyway, enjoy!

Faction had been dead in the water for quite some time.
I did listen sometimes though when I came across some of the older stuff

If you check SiriusXM's social media pages, either punk rockers are quite vocal, or it did have a pretty decent following. Or maybe a little of both

Ellis's show getting it's own channel was probably the thing that killed it, not that I cared much for him.

It also has to do with Octane changing their format slightly to only new hard rock, so now with Turbo on 41 you won't hear much 90s/00s hard rock on Octane anymore.

I've been wishing they would put Turbo on the normal receivers.... found out this past spring that it was going to happen by Labour Day.
