windshield wiper problems

I have an 89 wrangler my wipers are running whether I have them on or off they will not stop unless I turn the jeep off any suggestions thanks

Motor works fine, it's the thing that tells it what to do that is the problem. I mean, could be the switch, but more than likely the relay.

I followed the wires from my steering wheel and the box that they go to is the problem I wiggled it and they work I don't know what the part is called but that's what it is

That's the relay. Corrosion on the contact can cause this problem. Remove relay and clean contacts with VERY fine sandpaper put some lube and reinstall.
