I ended up calling the 1-800 number and they sent out a package. I was hoping for overnight delivery but looks like regular ups. Looks like another week waiting time.

I wish you would have PM'd me so I could put a rush on that for you! Please PM me your order number. I want to credit you back the cost of the Rubi Rails for your inconvenience.

Angry poor quality control

Prior to ordering a set of the Enhance Rubi Rails for my 13 JK 2Dr, I read a couple of reviews that indicated there were problems with the hardware and install I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. Of the 8 pre-welded screws that fit through the pinch seam 7 of them were covered in the coating, which caused 2 of the nuts to cross-thread. One of the screws broke it's weld and just free spins now. How hard or expensive could it possibly be for Barricade to put some plastic sleeves or hell even tape over the screws prior to powder coating???One of the screws was bent at about 60 degree angle. The directions were written with color coded instructions and are in black & white. The gap next to the body in the back is noticeably wider than in the front. Finally got them installed and they feel a little loose, product definitely not worth the $350 through ET.

I'm sorry that it took me a while to see this post! Running a die over the threads of those bolts will clean them up and make the nuts thread on without incident. It sounds like over torquing the nut while trying to force it past the powder coat may have caused the stud to come loose. The bent stud was surely damaged in shipping.

If you ever have an issue with a part like this please reach out to me via PM or our customer service department so we can help you out ASAP! If you shoot me a PM with your order number we can talk about what to do to make this right. I hope to hear from you soon!

Installed mine last night. Went on relatively easy. My only grip is the plastic end caps. I was unaware that there was any plastic on this product and one of them was torn leaving the inside exposed to water and etc.. After a quick call to XT customer service it seems a new one should be in route shortly. This was my first mod along with a bumper last night. Overall I'm happy with the product's looks and functionality and my experience with XT.

Are you saying that both ends of the Rubi rail portion are open and have plastic end caps? That isn't evident from the product photos.

I would have assumed they were fully steel encased, as it seems their tubular slider cousins appear to be.

Anyone know if the Mopar Enhanced Rubi Rails have the same plastic end caps?

Yikes...plastic end caps on the precise area where rocks and debris will be kicked up all day.
Hmm...might have to reconsider these.

I really do like how they look and instal was super easy, but the plastic end caps are a negative.
