Conflicting Information = trust issues

So I get ready to place an order for the Diver Down seat covers in Black and for the VersaHitch. Before doing so, I entered the online chat with Kevin to verify both items were in stock. He assured me that both were in stock, but that I would need to place my order by phone in order to get the forum discount. I immediately picked up the phone and called Quadratech. I didn't catch the name of the guy I spoke to on the phone, but he claimed the seat covers were not in stock. I'm having a hard time understanding how 2 different people with the same company can have 2 different answers less than 2 minutes apart. I didn't end up placing an order, and in fact, just hung up the phone. Now how can a consumer trust a company with their banking info if you can't even believe them when they tell you they have a product in stock or not? Anyone else run into issues like this when dealing with Quadratech?

I ordered my Diver Down covers 4/7/17 and they still show back ordered. Frustrating.

I don't understand that. It's been over a month and you still haven't received the product you have already paid for? No way I could stand for that, especially since its not like they are going to be paying you interest on the money you have already given them.

I'm not 100% but I don't think they charge your card until the product comes in. I'm not worried about the money as much as I am having the product for summer.

Hi Lee,

The two part numbers you provided Kevin in chat are in stock:

Seat covers: 14167 2021 07
VersaHitch: 12015 1002 07

This is also reflected on our website:





I can confirm that these are in stock per my inventory management system.

I am not sure with whom you spoke on the phone, but I do apologize that they provided conflicting information.

For a discounted quote you can go about it 3 ways:

1) PM me with your first & last name, address, zip and the part numbers you would like to order. I'll reply back with a discounted quote if applicable. This takes 1-2 business days (or less) on average depending on PM volume.

2) E-mail my sales rep Rob at: [email protected] Tell him you're a Forum user and would like a discounted quote. He'll get that going for you. He typically responds within hours if it's Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Eastern.

3) Call my sales line at 1-800-745-2348. Tell them you're a Forum user and would like to place an order with your Forum discount. Their hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-Midnight, Friday 8am-9pm, Saturday 9am-5pm.

Whichever you prefer works for us.

You are correct, we do not charge until parts ship out unless you use PayPal of course. If you can PM me your order # I can check with my Purchasing team for a proper ETA.
