any plans for memorial weekend?

Thinking of doing a couple of trails this weekend. Seeing if anybody is interested. Thinking of doing at least one to the river or lake.

I have a couple of trails we can do, it'll make most of a day. I'm going to get some more info and make sure they are open for us. But the idea is to do the Potosi pass into Sandy valley. Then from there go on another trail into good springs. Possibly have lunch in good springs. There is a few other trails in that area we can explore if time permits. I'm planning on a Sunday run. I will post more info tomorrow.

Sunday should work for me and my son- we've only been out to the lake once, so we're looking forward to getting off the pavement (but something relatively tame since we're rookies 👍&#127995

For those of us on the vegas side, we will meet up at the gas station at the red rock turn off on blue diamond (160). At 830 am.

For those on the other side of the hill. We will meet you at the Potosi road. (Bsa). We should be there by 9 am.

We will air down at the Potosi road meet. This trail looks easy, mostly dirt road. Should be some old mining ruins around to check out.

My buddy and I are looking into goofing around at the Apex on Monday sometime, he is riding his dirt bike and I am taking my jeep. Not really sure what all is out there, but could be a fun exploring day...

Taking the family out tomorrow for some Jeep (car) camping on the Mojave Road.

On a related tangent... Got a new 24 x 60 inch hitch mounted cargo carrier that I'm wanting to see how it will do in an overland role. Of course, being a TJ, it wasn't exactly ready without a bit of modification ($$). I already have a very decent PS Rockbrawler bumper, but I wasn't happy with the non frame tie ins for the bumper (4 of 6 bolts go into a rather underwhelming cross member/not the frame). So $50ish later and an order to Ground Pounder Fab, frame tie ins are in and I'm not worried about loading down the carrier and seeing everything bend. And why do I mention this? Because all that go beyond OEM can understand it is rarely as easy as 2+2=4. Nuts

Everyone have a good Memorial.

Very manly for me to say I like the flower one, but it's a great shot.
