Less anybody know anything about the wheeling in Apex? Went dirt bike riding with a buddy yesterday and saw a line of 4x4s heading out into the desert from there. Is it easy, rocky, sandy, just, looking for input on it to know if it a good place or just an ok place to romp around.

It's a close-by place to screw around off road. It seems like it's for people that buy a brand new Jeep and never leave the Valley.

There are ways to get from Apex to Lake Mead off highway.

I have heard there's a lakebed somewhere east of Nellis AFB that's great skid pad practice after it first rains moderately.
