Dec 6th Trail Ride

Evening,

I am moving my jeep to Vegas from Florida and my first free day will be Sunday Dec 6th wondering if anybody would like together for a trail ride? Been doing my research was thinking Rocky Gap Road\Potato Ridge, but open to suggestions.

My background 2013 lived in Reno had a YJ that I fixed up and then sold. Fast forward today I fixed up a 2005 LJR 35" KM2, 3.5in lift, tummy tuck/armor, and winch moving back west for better wheeling opportunities.

Place has been quite around here lately I see. I haven't done Rocky / Potato with snow on the ground (most likely) and am up for it if only for seeing the white stuff. I suggest west (Lovell Canyon) to east (into Red Rock). Either 0800 or 0900 linkup at the Terrible's at the junction of 160/159 for the Vegas side Jeeps is what I suggest. Post back to here if interested.

Good copy. I have it down for a 0900. It is far enough out that I'd be surprised if no one else speaks up to come along...if so, let us know.

Have weekdays off... will wheel! Can't go on the 6th... the Broncos play and I seldom miss a game.

I've been thinking a trip to Death Valley should be pretty high on my list since the weather is so nice over there now. Open to suggestions.

We're in Pahrump.

Clint--it was. And I had to check back...we DID the night run via Burro Wash back in August together. You now have different tires and who knows what else that threw me off.

I'll add pics, etc in a bit. Knocking out the Household 6 requirements first.

Okay, my photos from today below. I'll use forum handles to keep it straight. The GPS track for this trail is in my GPS / trail specific thread.

Ricky Bobby (getting ready to come up out of the wash prior to the rock garden). About to have an unusual attitude...

There it is (not intentional / no posing--we had to hook a strap up to his bumper and put tension on it to keep that LJ from climbing over on to its side when torque was applied). Cool pic to boot!

Dusthol running the wash prior to coming back up on the trail.

Dusthol at the end of the rock garden (he didn't take the berm bypass that is up on the high ground left side of the pic).

Dusthol's JKU at the end of the rock garden.

Good time.
