Need some info

I was just wondering if anyone would know a problem that my friend is now having with his Durango.

His wife took it to work the other day and drove it on the highway going 80mph with 4H on by mistake, it engages by electronic push button and she must have hit it.

He has a really bad clicking sound now while going forward. He also said that all his oil/grease from the pumpkin went all over his engine bay out from the breather hose. Also he said it smells or rotten eggs.

Just wondering what could the clicking noise be and what would he have to check/replace to fix it.

:Thanks
