Nelson's ~ Copper Cache, et al Sat Evening or Sunday morning?

When: Saturday afternoon (1400-1800) or Sunday morning (0800-1200)
Where: Nelson's Landing~I'd like to tackle Copper Cache, but I'm game for lesser adventures (the power line road climbing out of the river valley south of Nelson's is really cool just for the views.

Depending on any interest, majority rules on tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning. Semi technical to non technical is fine by me. Meetup time TBD / Location Railroad Pass Casino.

So anyone feeling froggy? Any level of Jeep is okay (we can modify routes accordingly).

Well. Jean Dry Lake and the McCullough Hills for a nighttime ride were the soup du jour. Warm enough for doors off by a long shot.

And Copper Cache today. I went counter clockwise on the trail to check it out and then turned around after going down what is normally "waterfall 1" to go back up that obstacle. I tried waterfall 1 about four months ago and she wouldn't pull it without popping too big a willy. I got my lockers fixed down at Adam's last week and yeah, no issue now. Still spun a little, but the front never came off the ground which is a nice feeling.

After that, we went down the trail to the south a bit (four miles~) to grab a geocache and then we headed home to Hendertucky.

So...next weekend, who is in? I've got next weekend and then the next one is out as I must do a couple overnighters with the Army up in Reno. Summer is coming...and then we are going to be doing night runs to escape the heat.

Just below Waterfall 1 (exiting).

Random beauty.

Jeep back into the game? I figured you might still be down. Everyone else is lurking methinks and doesn't trust us to not be . We have fun no matter the level of trail or build--honest.

Well, I was thinking Lovell Canyon (west side) or some such this weekend. HOWEVER, I just looked at the 3 day weekend forecast for Vegas--forecasters seem REALLY sure that this is going to be a wet weekend. Sooo...

I've tagged on some orders for the Jeep (Barnett front diff cover, rock lights, etc), so hopefully some of it comes in and I can wrench instead this weekend. Because weather looks to be craptastic.
