Welcome. There a plenty of trials that would be great for your first time. Burro wash out of Boulder city is nice takes you down to the river. Wheelers pass north of town is another. But never go alone always go with another vehicle just in case. Keep an eye out on this site there are plenty of groups you can tag along with

hello and welcome to the madness!!!!!!! Best advice you will ever get is what CFR just gave you, never go out alone. As for a great 1st run I would say Potatoe Ridge is always gorgeous and if you are feeling like putting the rubi to a test the 2nd half of the trail is called rocky gap for obvious reasons lol. Rocky is stock capable but you are sure to hit the bottom of your jeep somewhere. Side note isn't your avatar from rocky gap CFR?

Welcome, enjoy the new toy. Bitter Spring byway is a nice road too. Your best bet is to join up with rides on here or maybe check out the desert wranglers on meetup.com. Going out alone if you don't know your vehicle and/or the desert well isn't a very good risk.

I am jotting down these places, making a list... and thanks for the support. I will look into the Desert Wranglers and keep my eyes on the site here for possibly meeting any of you folks too.
The weather is great right now, woo hoo !!
