Question about brining a Jeep into Nevada

I'm looking for a Jeep, I'm not finding what I'd like here in Nevada, but I am finding some in in California. Are there any issues with bringing a modified Jeep into Nevada? Fenders? Any restrictions?

Jeff, you will find that the NV portion of this board moves very, very, very slow. Since we see a lot of modified jeeps in the LV I am guessing there is no problem bringing in a modified Jeep to NV. I am new here too and Jeep has spent all of its time in the garage at this writing so I don't know how the vehicle code enforcement is either but am also guessing that is not an issue either. I do know the our jeep, due to its age has to be smog'ed. Now to discover where NV jeepers post their runs.

Yeah, this place is dead.
I bought the Jeep and had no problem registering it. I live in Nye county so no smog issue here.

Bought my 03 TJ in Truckee. Drove it to Reno to register it. A VIN inspection was all that was required. depending on the county, you will have to smog it. Any police officer or DMV official can fill out the vin inspection. No problem with tires sticking out or a big lift kit, etc. go for it.

California is one of the strictest states....If it passes any Calif. "laws" you'll be fine in Nevada.
Check this out....https://www.yourmechanic.com/article...alerie-mellema

Note this if you are planning on running your Jeep taller than 14 FEET....Frame and suspension

Nevada does not have limitations on lift, frame or bumper height providing that the vehicle is not taller than 14 feet. However, there are body frame height restrictions based on Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR):

Really??? Lift it up guys and go to Nevada!!!
