Week Day Trip Anyone?

I can hit the trail just about any day and actually prefer week days to avoid the crowds. I'm in Pahrump, but I'd drive over the hump if somebody wants to lead, or I can lead on this side of the Spring Mountains.

I also love to explore so if you don't want to lead, I've got a couple areas south of Red Rock Canyon off Cottonwood Pass I'd like to check out.

We have done some of the trails around Cottonwood and would be up for more exploring this Saturday. Let me know if that works.

For those who are unfamiliar, the Cottonwood that Off Pavement is referring to is the area south of SR-160 aka Blue Diamond starting a few miles west of the SR-159 / Red Rock junction. It can be run as a loop or return to LV from Jean / Goodsprings on I-15. I would call it class II or III on the Mitchell Scale except a small climb off of the Potosi trail where I would recommend at least a 2" lift to prevent / reduce scraping. It can be dusty but not too bad with just a few Jeeps. We have seen many wild horses and burros in the area.
