Nice!
I have a SCCY, but don稚 think I ever shot it. Probably shameful to have never fired guns kept in the cold dark.

They run pretty good. This is the second one in our family. I had one that I gave to my mom for when dad is travelin for work. Nice soft shooting compact and pretty reliable. Not too bad a deal until you wanna trick it out, there really ain't a huge aftermarket following like there is for Glock and 1911.

I know the feeling. My AK is sulking, guzzling vodka, and muttering obscenities in Russian... Kinda scaring me to be honest I should really take it out to the range and let it kill the capitalists also known as stuffed animals but hey what Natalya doesn't know won't hurt her... Seriously I tricked her into thinking Obama fired all our human soldiers and replaced them with brightly colored soft plushy toys.

Don稚 know if any of you watched the CNN propaganda town hall tonight on gun control, but they (the leftist crowd and the Democratic Senators) made it CLEAR they want a Complete ban on semi-automatic firearms of any kind. The crowd (mostly props) went one step further when Dana Loesch was speaking and wants a complete ban on all guns. Period. Vote accordingly and make your voices heard. This is going to be worse than Sandy Hook....

One person even asked about getting bullet proof vest in schools and the lefty POS said 渡o, that痴 not going to keep you safe, only getting rid of guns will. So no safety for the kids unless it痴 a gun ban, period LoL

Edit: Just came out the whole thing was rigged. I知 so surprised......

I work in LE and we have police cars that get broke into all the time so don't think a plate will act as a deterrent. Sad what our country is turning into.

They already have concealed carry in schools.
It's the bad guys carrying concealed.

If you read the litany of failures at the Florida Valentines day shooting, what might make a person think that even more laws would have prevented the shooting?
Four deputies hiding outside until city cops showed up and went in.
If the first teacher that got shot had a pistol, maybe he wouldn't have died protecting his students. Maybe the shooter would have died.

These high school kids protesting and demanding new firearms restrictions?? Are they the same ones that last week were biting Tide pods.

Good Luck, L.M.

there痴 a lot more than just that. Those kids and their group are funded by Bloomberg. That痴 how it got started so quick. They are all on twitter (not actually them posting) strong arming companies to drop NRA discounts and to sever all ties. They are in corporate warfare mode. They are also telling people to not come to Florida for spring break until gun control is passed (attempting to strangle florida痴 Massive tourism industry). See attchched pics. Gun owners are under attack. Kids don稚 do this, adults that are trying to destroy an enemy do. Here痴 a tweet from David 的 can稚 remember my lines Hogg and what he痴 going to go for (one of the core spokesman of the marchfororlives movement). Keep your powder dry....

I've already cancelled my Preferred customer card with Enterprise, Hertz and my Windham rewards card. I may have preferred customer agreements with some of the other car rental companies and if I do, they're gone too.

I don't travel too much anymore but have in the past. I'm checking to see if I have any preferred customer plans with United and Delta. If I do I'll cancel them also.

I'll review the list of businesses that have cancelled their NRA relationships and boycott them. It doesn't help to simply boycott them, they need to know who's boycotting them and why. A letter or a simple email should do.

I vote with my dollars.

True. For example 0.5% of the population re legal gun owners according to DC officials, yet DC has a a 25.9% gun ownership rate according to the studies.

my guess is it is the same in US cities that have draconian gun control -- the bad guys have all the guns -- but the target of the gun control lobby is the legal owners.

Quote:

These young kids protesting against the Second Amendment (and they are a minority of kids) also tend oppose the first, fourth and fifth amendments. They really believe if any right harms or bothers anyone, anywhere, it needs to be ended.

Quote:

The thing is the bloomberg gun ban lobby, which is the sole push in both protests and boycott/divest, knows that modern gun ownership is inherently discreet and private. This is why less people tell a pollster banging on their door that they have a gun at home -- all modern training says to say "no" if asked if you have a gun. And the younger you are the more likely you are to say you don't have a gun in the house, when you do.

here is the question: Did you join NRA for the discounts? I certainly did not and I do not knpow anyone who did.

People join AAA and AARP for discounts, they are giant collective discount groups and get better deals. I will join AARP when I get old enough.

People do NOT join NRA, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Human rights campaign or NAACP for affinity programs or discounts. They join them because they want their civil rights and civil liberties.

this entire thing is just something to keep this in the news. In 40, 30, 20, 10, 5 and two year trends ALL polls show whatever blip up in public support for gun control after some shooting, if they get a 10 point rise after an event, it falls 12 points by the year end.

NRA is not being hurt by losing 1% of its income for affinity programs, it is being hurt by the press making this some kind of triumph

So the strategy is simple:

a) do whatever you can to make sure your local and federal legislators OPPOSE any and all additional gun control

b)-- be the backlash against the vicious and lying hate campaign attacking the NRA ie attacking all law abiding gun owners. Up your membership, buy gift memberships.

Went out and did some plinking today. Well I ran across an odd 1911 malfunction. When runnin PMC Blazer fmj my firing pin block at the back of the slide kept falling. Never had an issue running 20 Hornady Custom Hollow points that look like flying ash trays or running about 16 rounds of Armscor 45 fmj.... Just with those 50 PMC rounds. It'd fire a few the block would fall and it'd jam it open. Now here's the really weird part, the 1911 in question is a bone stock Armscor 1911A1 GI model. Like I said it only malfunctioned with the PMC, I got it home cleaned it up and inspected it I don't see a reason it would do that unless the rounds were over pressure which is possible the box did look sketchy and the rounds were really dirty. Anyway anybody else seen a 1911 exhibit this behavior on PMC or is it just me?

The MP5 build I started last night.

An Omega OM9-FS complete upper receiver w/full auto bolt carrier.

The HK full auto trigger housing with semi auto trigger pack installed.

Assembled with an old magazine attached that I borrowed from a friend.
I ordered 5 HK mags but they haven't arrived yet.

I swapped out the forearm for a tri-rail I got from HKParts.net and attached the Vortex Strikefire II red dot sight.

And here it is with a 5-position stock laying next to it that I also got from HKParts.net. I can't legally attach it at this time since I do not yet have a tax stamp for the SBR.

My future plans for this bad boy are a Griffin Armament Revolution suppressor, a Franklin Armory binary trigger pack, and a few attachments on the forearm. Oh and the SBR tax stamp that I'm waiting to clear.

I wonder if the ATF will do their job and hit her with a felony? Or will it be a "Good for me, not for thee" deal?

So according to the news program, cutting the barrel on an AR15 makes it a sawed off shotgun. This kind of stupidity is hard to watch.

All other debates seem to have well articulated responses from either side. I guess the gun grabbers just can't seem to get educated on that subject
