Are you bored? I'm jealous that it's almost quitting time there.

Good for you! How's the girls? (I mean your kids, not the other girls, although...)

Have you heard from Em? I was thinking I wonder what she would think of this thread now. Did she get married yet?

Oh, and pretty OK beats pretty not OK so I'll take it lol

If you've gone out for drinks a couple times now and he hasn't pursued anything beyond casual flirting you may not be headed in the same direction. Most men will run through a door you leave just slightly open...

Well work relationships can be a little messy so I don't know. I just have fun with him, it's not the end of the world. Whatever happens happens.

We didn't, but not because he chose not to. The chief engineer is giving him a hard time this week and insisted he make corrections to some metrics and meet with him. We are rescheduling for next week I believe. He apologized for it.

I'm sure it will. We always have a good time together. He has not quit the endless flirting at work yet. So there's that

Im considering a shed to store just Jeep stuff. Between the two of us it's 2 hard tops, 2 softops, 6 doors, 4 upper 1/2doors, 2 trail covers, 1 bikini top, plus all the off road gear

My daughter is trying to convince John that we need a dog. Our 15 yr old dachshund passed away a little over a month ago. I kinda agree with her in the sense that I miss having a dog terribly. But, John is pretty sure it's a bad idea. Being in the middle isn't much fun. :-/

That's tough. It's a tough decision to get a pet regardless- it's like taking on another child I swear. Mine has been sick all day because she ate out of the trash AGAIN. I tell myself I'm going back to cats once she's gone lol

I'm dog sitting because my friends left town this weekend. I realize why I don't have dogs... (or cats). I can just pack up N leave anytime I want...no worries about animals.

Yeah that kinda sucks too. My cat is fine if I have to leave, someone can just check on her, but the dog is different. And one of my friends is getting married in December out of town so I'm going to have to board my dog because my ex usually keeps her but his parents will be in town. So that will be a nice chunk of change just to have the vet keep her for a weekend. Stuff like that is a definite downside.

That's very true.
I think it's just a huge shock not to be on the farm anymore. We are so used to animals everywhere --literally! I just feel that everyone has to agree to the addition. Otherwise, it's a fight waiting to happen.

Wouldn't a kennel be cheaper than leaving her with the vet?

Yeah I agree there. Good luck- it's a hard decision.

There's only one other place to board her here, and they are more expensive. I've also heard some not so great things about them. I'm in a pretty rural area, so unless I drive an hour out of my way, I don't have many options.
