I don't think I'll be going topless completely. I did find a really good local deal on full soft doors, tops and bottoms, so I might swap the doors out so I can see better on the trails and just throw them in the back. I'm not sure yet I'm all over the place. I was going to pick up a cheap pair of TJ mirrors because supposedly they fit on the doors perfectly, that way I would be legal and have visibility. But I have too much to do tonight, doing a presentation for Aikido from 6-9 and leaving around 1:00 tomorrow. The guy wasn't around in the time windows for me to pick them up.

The full soft doors will be a nice addition. No more dealing with the heavy full doors all the time

Yeah if I didn't already have half doors for the YJ, I'd be looking for them. Plan on getting them for the TJ so the kid doesn't need Dad's help to put her doors on/off

I'm glad I got them - just trying to decide what to do with the mirror situation. I have the bolt on ones - but at highway speeds they don't always stay put :\

Where do they bolt on?

They are the Rugged Ridge quick release ones. They bolt to the A-pillar right where those two sets of bolts are. Great location - just have to figure out how to tighten the arm enough not to fold in at speeds upwards of 50 mph.

Try telling Mr G that you need his man-strength

Edit: I like them on the A pillar as well. I'm going to get the relocation brackets for mine and just ditch the mirrors on the doors. They are easier to store without mirrors plus that way I'm always ready to go for the full-half-or no-doors.

Oh I need it for other things.....

It's a great set up to have them unattached to the door. My JK though has the power option, which has defroster mirrors. So taking them apart is kind of a waste. I'd rather just pop these on for 6 months instead of cutting the wiring off. It's a nice feature for the cold months with ice - spoiled I know - but my previous car didn't have any fancy features.

It makes a big difference for sure, especially climbing hills. Good luck!

Raining hard here too, flooded our parking lot. Guy says, the water is getting close to your jeep, I say...my Jeep will be fine

But yeah it's going to make things interesting. Hopefully it won't be so bad. Will be heading down around 1:00.

I went out when it was wet and raining and had to winch up hills that I climbed easily when it was dry. But..it's more of a challenge and it's fun anyway. Just don't slide into a tree like I did lol

Morning daters, and happy weekend! Hope y'all are having great ones!

We went fishing late yesterday afternoon with A's brother and caught a mess of catfish, so we're going over to their house this afternoon to fry some fish and hush puppies

S, what did you decide on for a Halloween costume??

I'm not even gonna lie, I had to look up who Alie 1.0 is lol. That looks pretty cool though! I've never heard of that show. How's the weather up there now? It's gotten chilly here this weekend... I'm so not ready for it lol.
