following, will update when i get back stateside to post my official jeeps watch (colormatched) and some others u might like

i'd like to add tho, except for the people with pics of their actual timepieces on their arms in their jeeps, it just seems like a bunch of advertisements

I would bet that at least one person bought a watch based on this thread. Advertising, maybe in an organic way.

Check out the watch 4Ms, people there take their photography very seriously and there are some pretty cool ones (not on the wrist or in a Jeep).

Watches for me have been a long standing addiction and love. It’s embarrassing how much I get geeked out about them.

I like watches, wear a couple different ones.

But, being retired, medically screwed up from much of it, I believe I wear mine just in case the Rescue guys and gals have to show-up for some reason, I need to know what time it is... Date and day. Good for memory recall

I'm either wearing my Fitbit or my GearS2 Classic. Nowadays, usually just my Fitbit. Other than that, I have the clock on the dash and my phone. Not much of a watch guy, actually.

I’m a big Breitling fan. I’ve always wanted an Emergency, though I’m no stick. I’ve been told that the latest versions are expensive to service. Anyway, nice timepiece.

That’s a hell of a bargain, at least around these neck of the woods. Incidentally Mike, the sea dweller and sea master are great choices as well.

Since I sold off my kids (my son is an FMF corpsman and my daughter is an IDC corpsman) I found I have some disposable income. So AEV, watches and a house by the beach are my vices. Aside from the Breitling b2 the leather strap is a zenith el premiro and the other is a 1928 ulysses Nardin.

Sold off the kids and found disposable income! Priceless! I like your thinking (vices). Sensational collection to be sure. I’m guessing you’ve earned the “vices” and then some. You must be exceedingly proud of your children, I know I would be. When I was with the fleet my guys were protective our corpsman; no harm should befall him. In fact, I purchased my Willys from a disabled corpsman now a car salesman. Incidentally, a sincere and heartfelt thank you to you and your children. By the way, I’m almost there. Earlier this year my youngest finished up 10-years of higher education and my oldest is wrapping up 13 and should walk in the Spring. Mike, I’d say that you and I are truly lucky.

I’m very grateful they have made it home safe after multiple deployments. My kids are 3rd generation corpsman. I was an FMF doc with the 24th MAU my father was a doc with the 4th marine div. ww2. Hopefully my grand kids will keep the tradition going. The Marines already have a “few good men”....Navy Corpsmen

Wow! 3rd generation of corpsmen. That’s something to be proud of. My father was an army medic during the Korean War. He thought I had lost my mind when I enlisted in the Marines (infantry). We’d raze “the squids”, and visa versus, whenever you were on float or deployment. All in good fun. How I envied the sailors; the chow on ship was excellent.

5600, that's right. I had to find the manual to remember. It has been good for about 4 years of chopping wood, cardio-kickboxing and crossfit.

Tough as nails? Good to know.

We could be related.

My dad just gave me a Hamilton manual winder that my mom gave him as a wedding present in 1956. Still runs. Just needs a nice leather strap to replace the "twist-o-flex" thing he put on it in the 70s or so.

I can still remember the commercials. Twist-o-Flex bands were all the rage.

I took the pic while back but I struggled to write the post. I had been telling the story behind each watch I post and this one is bitter sweet.

This watch was a gift to me from the most special person ever in my life. She bought it for me when I finished up the first year of my master’s degree at Texas A&M with a 4.0 in the summer of 2015. I didn’t have any watches with gold on them and the gold Aggie ring is something I was very excited to receive. We both had to make sacrifices for me to go back to school including putting off our wedding. She was proud of me and the sacrifices were supposed to be the ticket to us having an even better life down the road.

We were walking in a crosswalk when she was killed by a guy who was texting and driving in December that year. I was with her and well, I’ll spare all the details but the doctors said she was gone instantly.

She was, is and will always be the love of my life and my motivation to keep getting better. She was my perfect woman, she changed my life for the best and she even loved my JK. I left it home in the garage with the top and doors off one business trip I took, and she drove it for the week (yes she drove a manual). She sent me a text saying she felt like such a badass I wasn’t going to get my Jeep back 😊

For a while I wore it every day, but now I wear it sparingly so nothing too bad happens to it. I know it’s not the most expensive watch, but it’s obviously priceless to me.
