I don't need new jeep friends. I need jeep friends period. Moved here 7 mo ago, and I only know one other person with a wrangler - '04 Rubi. He lives down the road and every time he stops in my driveway to chat he dumps about 6 oz. of motor oil and 2 oz. of tranny and/or transfer case fluid... enough to sop up with shop rags/paper towels. HOA freaks out about even the smallest drips on the driveway, so last time I was scrubbing with Dawn and a toothbrush. He has to park down the street now. Lol.
1. Even though it is slightly ridiculous a lot of people share a very real fear of clowns, me included. You may want to consider taking off the make-up, dying your hair a more natural color along with a slight trim and for god sake if you have a honk honk horn, put it away. That's just annoying!
2. A real Jeep friend would have helped him fix his Jeep friend's leaks. If not out of friendship at least out of compassion for the feelings of the bleeding Jeep.
3. The whole clown thing and CHOPPER on your Jeep might come off as slightly creepy. Might as well just hang an AX on your tailgate as well sans the blood...
Hahaha..
So I am far away but even here in Mass we have many opportunities to meet like minded enthusiasts. Jeep specific clubs, a Jeep 4X4 shop that's local holds meet and greets on Saturdays that bring in a lot of people and vehicles, and for me my over sand beach sticker has rounded up a few friends. Being parked out on the beach brings other Jeep owners out of the woodwork to talk mods and what not. I don't think I have run into a modded Jeep that doesn't have an owner that doesn't want to talk shop about it. I've been invited to a bunch of different things and whether I wanted to or not I have made a bunch of friends.
Well hell yeah guys! Usually there's a group that meets up in castle rock every couple weeks has some coffee breakfast all the good stuff and just bullshits.
I say we start doing the same. I don't have any jeep friends at all either man so I know the feeling baha.
Morrison here. Met plenty of you folks. Been meaning to run down to castle rock for the jeeps and java, just been very busy. Chad, still got that nutsert for ya if you want it.
Colo-TJ, you've given me advice before and I would like some more now from any of you.
I have a 99' Sahara that I will be putting a 2.5 suspension lift on from Rough Country. The lift recommends 31's at the largest and I am fine with that. I am wondering if I could go with 33's or is there too much of a chance of rubbing?
Let me know here, or a PM works. Thanks in advance.

I'd not go any bigger than 32's if it were me. We run 32's on Corrie's rig with a 2.5 Lift and it works perfectly. If you add a 1" body lift then you'd be okay
I am just outside of downtown Denver and could help. I just got my JKU and am wanting to learn how to work on it. I'm not incredibly mechanically inclined but am hoping to change that. If my inexperience and possible ineptitude doesn't scare you off and you want help, let me know!
No I'd be ok with that! I would also like to learn more about it myself. I hear the lights are a pain in the ass, but the disconnects may be easier. I've watched some youtube videos on them but... haha
I will be offering up my garage for wrenching parties for people that need to get some things done. I won't be in the house yet for about another 4 weeks though, so maybe a little later in the spring I'll post a meet and greet/wrenching party.
I'll be in Parker, so it'll be about a 45-60 minute drive from the north side of town. I'll be 3.5 miles east of Parker Rd. and Hess Rd. for reference.
There is a monthly meet up Tyler was talking about. Jeeps N Java hosted by The Edge Automotive and Lost Coffee. It's a good way to meet jeople and see some cool rigs.
The next meet up (Moab ~ EJS theme) is tomorrow from 8:00 to 11:00
Lost Coffee - Limelight.
3980 Limelight Ave
Castle Rock, Colorado 80109
