Best way to fix frame?

Yea I basically just noticed this, it could be possibly from the previous owner that lived near salt water so it caused that to happen and I also do not leave near the coast. What's probably my best bet for this not to break in two on my frame?

Where is that in the frame? It looks like it's already started to crack all the way through. Where are you located, maybe another member is near enough to you to give you an eyes on opinion.

There are replacement frame sections available that can replace damage like that. Here's one.

Is that a boxed section of the frame?

The crack is near the front part of the step on the passenger side so basically in between the step and the front fender

So are you still driving this? Is it a daily driver? Seeing that crack worries me, and I'd love to see you get it safe and sound.

Have you come up with any course of action?

With just the pictures you've put up here, I'd say the best avenue of approach is a full inspection of that frame to get a better idea of where you should move and adjust from there; if that's the only cancerous area, a patch job may be a great idea, but I think it's rare to just see ONE area as malignant as what you've found. You may be dealing with a lot more bent areas than just that one.
